PRIMEX kept its position as the Asian Development Bank’s (ADB) Top Philippines Consultant for five years from 2015 to 2019 based on the Country Fact Sheet published on 18 May 2020. PRIMEX, a member of the Oriental Consultants Global (OCG) Group since 2019, won a total of US$12.83 million in contracts over the said five-year period, keeping its lead over other Philippines-incorporated consulting firms registered with ADB.

ADB’s Country Fact Sheets summarize the bank’s partnerships with member economies, show key facts and figures, and give an overview of activities and future directions.

“It gives me great pride and joy that PRIMEX has kept its top ranking among Philippines-registered consulting firms doing business with ADB, especially since our company turned 30 last August 2019. We are 30, and we are No.1.”

Ms. Elvira C. Ablaza, PRIMEX President and CEO.

Since PRIMEX was founded in 1989, it has built an enviable reputation for its consistently outstanding performance in the planning, design, implementation, and evaluation of development projects across a wide range of sectors. To date, PRIMEX has worked in 36 countries in the Asia-Pacific region and has completed more than 330 projects. PRIMEX and OCG are currently implementing the ADB loan-funded Uplands Irrigation and Water Resources Management Sector Project in Cambodia, which started in 2016.

“The challenge for us is to keep this ranking. With the full support of OCG, I am confident that our team can do it. We are excited to grow and innovate. We look forward to partnering with new firms and consultants and strengthening our portfolio in transportation, infrastructure, and urban and rural development in the coming years,” said Ablaza.
