PRIMEX President and CEO Elvira C. Ablaza and Dr. Jerome F. Sison, PRIMEX Director and Corporate Treasurer participated in the Asian Development Bank’s (ADB) 49th Annual Meeting which was held in Frankfurt, Germany from 2-5 May 2016.
PRIMEX was invited to this event which brings together Governors of ADB member countries to provide guidance on ADB administrative, financial, and operational directions.
The Annual Meeting offers a platform for decision makers to discuss economic, financial, and social policies and programs, including solutions that help shape the future of Asia and the Pacific. The theme of the Frankfurt Annual Meeting is “Cooperating for Sustainability.”
In his opening address, ADB President Takehiko Nakao emphasized the importance of creating quality jobs, developing the private sector, and combating climate change are critical for a vibrant and sustainable region. 2016 is a landmark year for ADB as it celebrates its 50th year.
