Sector Experience
This is an exciting growth area for PRIMEX since 2010 as the multilateral and bilateral development agencies, as well as developing country governments in the Asia-Pacific region, commit to pouring huge amounts of funds in infrastructure development.
PRIMEX has participated in the planning and feasibility study of various infrastructure projects in the Philippines and overseas. These include the construction and rehabilitation of highways and expressways in the Philippines and Indonesia, design of an aerotropolis or an integrated airport complex in General Santos City in the Philippines, feasibility study of the Mindanao railway system, capacity building of the Philippine National Railways (PNR), provision of public-private partnership (PPP) transaction advisory services for the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Development Project in the Philippines, and Maritime and Safety Waterways Project in Papua New Guinea.
Other projects in urban development involved the promotion of technologies for effective waste treatment and management, sustainable waste management including safe disposal of refuse and interception of the upstream industrial wastewater to a wastewater treatment plant, and provision of medical waste management facilities in health clinics.
