PRIMEX President and CEO Elvira C. Ablaza negotiated the contract for the PRIMEX-led Consortium for the ADB loan-funded Uplands Irrigation and Water Resources Management Sector Project (Loan 3289-CAM) on 13 January 2016 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
The project will run from February 2016 to February 2021 in joint venture agreement with Oriental Consultants Global Co., Ltd. (OCG) and in association with Cambodian’s Action for Development Consultants Co., Ltd. (CADTIS). Senior officers of both firms also joined the proceedings.

We are slowly growing our presence in the Greater Mekong Sub-Region not only in water resources and irrigation projects but also in education projects. We appreciate this other chance to work with MOWRAM and rest assured that we will deliver excellent results as we are doing with our first loan project with them.”

PRIMEX is also currently implementing the Water Resources Management Sector Development Project (ADB Loan/Grant No. 2672-8253/0220 CAM [SF]) with the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology (MOWRAM) until 2017.
Engr. Estelita Y. Gutierrez, PRIMEX Senior Vice President, was equally optimistic about the new project. “Irrigation and water resources are among the company’s core strengths and we have good partners working with us in this project. Our experience in Cambodia is another plus factor. Because of these, I am confident that our team will perform well in this assignment,” said Gutierrez.
