Ferocious drive to succeed energizes PRIMEX team in its 29th year

29th Anniversary Celebration

PRIMEX celebrated its 29th anniversary with a Thanksgiving Mass and a breakfast for the staff on 7 August 2018 at Sentro 1771 at Capitol Commons. PRIMEX Chairman, Jose P. Leviste, Jr., (standing, 5th from left), President and CEO Elvira C. Ablaza, (seated, 3rd from right), and Director/Corporate Treasurer (standing, 6th from right) led the simple but meaningful gathering.

“When PRIMEX was conceived in 1989, I had a vision that we will be the prime consulting firm in the Asia-Pacific region. I am very proud to say that we have achieved that through cultivating a passion for excellence and commitment to quality within our team. We have a ferocious drive to succeed,” said Ablaza.

PRIMEX has thrived in the highly competitive consulting industry. It has also earned the distinction of being among the Top 5 Philippines-incorporated consulting firms conducting business with ADB, both for technical assistance and loan-funded projects. Since 2012, PRIMEX has been the No. 1 Philippine consulting firm in ADB, outranking those firms set up by large global engineering consulting firms in the Philippines.

Executive Vice President Guillermo L. Morales, though unable to join the celebration, sent an email expressing his gratitude to all PRIMEX staff, consultants, and partners who have supported PRIMEX. “Today is a day of great thanksgiving. God saw us through the years to reach this 29th year of our corporate existence and performance,” he said.

“PRIMEX has been equated with quality outputs, excellent management commitment, and support to consultant teams during project implementation,” said Morales. “We are willing to go beyond the terms of reference of a project. That sets us apart.”

Ablaza said that one of the key ingredients to PRIMEX’s continuing success is how it values its people. “We are confident of the future because we believe in our team. We consider our management and staff as family, the PRIMEX Family. We are excited to venture opportunities together particularly in Central and West Asia (the former Russian states), South Asia, and the Pacific, whilst also strengthening their niche in the Greater Mekong Subregion (Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam).”
