PRIMEX retained its No. 1 ranking among Filipino consulting firms engaged by ADB to implement technical assistance (TA) projects over the five-year period, 2009-2013. This was reported in the ADB 2013 Country Fact Sheet for the Philippines released in May 2014. PRIMEX emerged as No. 1 Filipino consulting firm for TA projects from 2008-2012 based on the total value of contracts awarded by ADB.
President and CEO Ablaza said that the ADB rankings have given the PRIMEX family more reason to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
She said, “The consulting business has become much more demanding, with clients expecting a lot more from consultants, while consulting services budgets have remained practically the same as a decade ago. In addition, the competition among consulting firms has grown more intense, as many more firms from developed countries have put up their Philippine offices and have competed with 100% Filipino firms like PRIMEX for the ‘developing member country (DMC) slot’ on shortlists of firms for specific projects.
